Katherine Jean Bolduan, also called her professional name Kate Bolduan, is an American journalist from the United States. Most famously, she is the host of CNN's morning program At This Hour. Bolduan was previously co-anchoring CNN morning programs New Day, and The Situation Room. Bolduan has contributed to CNN's coverage of the 2016 and 2012 presidential elections. Her prior experience included working as a Washington DC based correspondent, who covered all aspects of both US House and Senate. Bolduan, as part of the Capitol Hill Unit, reported on congress and legislative events including negotiations to raise the federal loan limit and the Super Committee deliberations. She also worked as a general-assignment correspondent and covered such topics as for instance the Christmas Day terrorist attack of 2009, the Supreme Court's decision on Obamacare in addition to the implementation in 2009 of the stimulus program. She became a CNN Newsource national reporter in the year 2007. As a national correspondent she was responsible for breaking news coverage and feature news for more than 800 CNN Newsource affiliates.
