Ali MacGraw

Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American model, author, designer and activist for animal rights. Her movies include Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus ( 1969) as well as The Getaway ( 1972). Her family was an artistic family in New York and wanted to take up a profession in the field of art. She began working as a photography assistant and later moved into acting and modeling. Her two first films were noticed and she received recognition with the Golden Globe Award of Most Promising newcomer. MacGraw became an international superstar after her film Love Story, which earned an Academy Award nomination as well as a Golden Globe. MacGraw was deemed the top female box-office star of the globe after just three films. The Grauman's Chinese Theater signed her name as well as foot prints, hand prints, and footprints in the year 1972. The other films she's appeared in are The Getaway Convoy Players as and the television miniseries The Winds of War. The autobiography of MacGraw Moving Pictures was published in 1991. MacGraw was married three times.
